एक दीपक

घनघोर अँधेरा

नहीं कहीं सवेरा

अंतहीन निशा

भटकी दिशा

 

व्याकुल मन

आँखे नम

चित विचलित

नहीं कोई परिचित

 

बैठे रहे मौन

लगे सब कुछ गौण

लगा जीवन गए हार

विषाद अपार !! विषाद अपार !!

 

तभी कही एक दीपक जला

विभावरी से एकल लड़ा

गुप्प अंधकार

किये सहस्त्रों प्रहार

 

कम्पित लौ चिर तिमिर से जूझा

लगे, अब बुझा  तो तब बुझा 

दीपक ने फिर युगत लगाया

खुद से सहस्त्रों दीप जलाया

 

भयभीत अंधकार

एक दीप से गया हार

रात ढली,अरुणोदय और प्रकाश

हर्षोल्लाष !! हर्षोल्लाष !!

 

संशय क्षीण, सत्य का ज्ञान

अब और चाहिए क्या प्रमाण

जब, यह सीखा गए स्वयं घनश्याम

जय श्री राम!! जय श्री राम!!

    1. धन्यवाद मधुसूदन जी, कुछ शब्द सामान्य प्रयोग वाले नहीं थे, मैं सोच रहा था कि कहीं मैं कविता के भाव के साथ न्याय कर पा रहा हूँ या नहीं….अच्छा लगा जो अपने सराहा..

    1. Hi Ritu! Happy Diwali to you and your family. I read that article, an interesting one dissecting different dimensions. Regarding the busting of fire crackers, I have a different and conflicting opinion. Comprehensive plan is needed, not a solo and arbitrary one. Thanks for visiting the post.

        1. Yes I can. If we shun fire crackers in Diwali in Delhi, it will have positive impact on Air quality, but there are other more important things to do. Because, even if Diwali is not in the calendar, still the PM 2.5 and PM 10 particle is relatively high in this city and rightly got a nick name “Gas Chamber”.
          Stubble Burning in the neighbouring states, dusts from the construction sites be it fly over construction or real state construction, Vehicular Emission, Operation of Diesel Generator, burning of solid garbage, pathetic municipal waste collection methods are the real reason of the worsening of air quality in Delhi. But these things hasn’t been addressed and Judiciary found an easy way. In my view, what the Judicial Activism has brought us a decision which is mere an eye wash.
